I found it!! This recipe is one of our favorites and when I accidentally deleted my recipe blog a few years ago I thought I'd lost it forever!! But today on FB I saw in a past post that I had linked to it and at least had the name to find it with...YAY!! It's found!!
We've used Trader Joe's raw, peeled and cleaned shrimp for this recipe in the past. It has simple ingredients and it's pretty quick...the skewering takes the most time.
So..I have it back...here's the link to the original recipe.

Back to blogging...
I'm back to putting my thoughts and things I'm learning/doing online. I had a wonderful recipe blog that I accidently deleted...pretty much cried over that one.
Hopefully this one will live a long time.
When I first started blogging about recipes it was to share our favorite family recipes with friends because I was being asked about them so many times. I've always loved cooking and baking so the blog became a place to record those various recipes.
Fast forward a few years and our whole way of eating has changed drastically and I'll have to say - much more for the better. I was told I was pre-diabetic and needed to eat "asian without the rice." That was about all the nurse practitioner told me.
I went home and started researching and honestly it felt like food became the enemy. Pretty sad for someone who loves to eat.
But becoming more healthy and staying that way definitely took priority.
My sister told me about Trim Healthy Mama about 3 years ago and it brought the joy back into eating because it was both very tasty and also healthy for me with blood sugar issues.
So, I'm a Trim Healthy Mama and I love helping others start on their THM journey now.
Soon after I started using THM I also was introduced to essential oils which have become a daily part of my life...so I will be blogging about that as well.
I'm not a recipe creator - I admire those who do create these yummy recipes. I may change something up but I will always link back to the original blogger to give them credit. You can see a list of my favorite bloggers on the side of the page...oh and you'll find quilting blogs there too. I guess those are my three main interests...eating healthy, living healthy with essential oils and my creative outlet - Quilting/sewing/crafting! God is the Creator of everything good and came to give us life abundant.
